I gaze into the vast beauty of your green eyes,
As you gaze likewise into mine.
It seems as though,
For The first time,
I see such luminous beauty in them.
From the thousands of shades present there,
In the vastness of the green held within.
As our eyes draw away from each other,
I think to myself,
Has this been my first glance,
Into the love that has continuously escaped me?
You tell me to go.
I turn to leave, wishing I could stay.
Deep down inside, you know as well,
I long to stay even one moment longer.
Our eyes have broken, both longing to meet again.
So as I motion to go,
I begin my departure from you,
I think to myself, until next time,
And in that time, again, when our gazes meet,
I shall impart to you, the wisdom I have seen,
And the enlightenment I have experienced,
In the beauty that I have found within you.
The beauty that has remained hidden from me,
Until my gaze, but a glance of love,
A strong and powerful gaze that has found me your beauty.
The beauty hidden within,
The beauty that was concealed,
The beauty of you.
